These Glacier snow tire chains feature a ladder pattern. They're going to be very effective during braking and accelerating in wintry conditions. They also feature case hardened square links so they are going to provide you with adequate grip on light snow and ice. Since they're a little bit smaller than your average size chain, they're also going to provide you with a smoother ride. Today, on our 2016 Jeep Patriot, we're going to be doing a test fit on Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains, part number TC1142 and that's tire size 215 65 R17. These Titan chains feature a ladder pattern, so they're going to be very effective during accelerating and braking in the wintry conditions. They also feature rounded twist links, so they're going to provide you with adequate traction on snow and ice. Since they're rounded, they're going to help limit jarring compared to square links of the same size. They're SAE classed chains. They're designed for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance, so they're low profile. more

Glacier Square-Link Snow Tire Chains Review - 2014 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today, on our 2014 Jeep Patriot, with tire size 205 70 16, we're going to be test fitting the glacier square-link snow tire chains, part number PWPLC1138. These are an SAE Class "S" chain.To begin our installation, what we're going to do is first lay out our chain, remove any kinks or any tangles that might be in it. Now when we install it, we want to be sure that the hook is facing outward. That way we'll have the smooth side here up against the sidewall of our tire. That's just going to prevent any damage that might occur to our sidewall.We'll grab our chain, hook side out. We're going to place it over our tire just like that. more

Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains Review - 2014 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today on our 2014 Jeep Patriot with tire size 2057016 we're going to be test fitting the Glacier cable snow tire chains. Part number PW1038. These are an SAE class S chain. To begin our test fit we're going to lay our chain out here and roll it out. That's going to get out any kinks or any tangles that might be in there. One thing we will want to keep in mind when we're installing this is, on the back side here, it says tire side. We want this side of our chain to be facing our sidewall on our tire, to prevent any damage that might occur from that hook edge. more
